About Dr. Susanna Chandler
Dr. Chandler is originally from Cedar Hill, TX and graduated high school in DeSoto, TX. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Colorado (Go Buffs) and then completed her master’s degree and medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She received her pediatric training in Little Rock, AR at Arkansas Children’s Hospital before moving back to her home state to care for the children of North Texas.
She is married to her husband, also Dr. Chandler; they have a beautiful baby girl born during their residency training. Dr. Chandler and her family live in Fort Worth and love to try new restaurants, go on walks with their pittie rescue, and travel to national parks where you will catch them hiking. Her husband is an avid Texas Tech and Cowboys fan, but she tends to be watching food competition shows or listening to true crime podcasts.
Dr. Chandler always wanted to work with children and after completing her pediatric rotation in medical school, she knew it was the path for her. She has a passion for newborn care and supporting new parents. However, she loves taking care of children of all ages!
